This position shall provide expertise and services as necessary to perform S-CDID support at Fort Lee, Virginia which may include doctrine development support, operational architecture (OA) support, organizational support, material requirements support, operational energy (OE) support, integrated logistics support (ILS), manpower and personnel integration (MANPRINT) support, studies/analysis support, data collection and management support, performance-based logistics (PBL) support, and system training plans. This position will also provide expertise and services as necessary to support development training strategies, concepts, and products for the current and future forces, including growing adaptive sustainment professionals, develop and integrate innovative Army and Joint sustainment capabilities, concepts and doctrine to enable operations.


Required Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree in English with experience editing materials.
  • Familiar with how to plan, review and finalize documentation IAW the procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to edit a variety of plans, reports, and documentation IAW the specific task order PWS for content, organization, format, grammar and finalizing into a professional product.


Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

  • Capability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Possess and maintain all required training and certifications.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Possess and maintain a Secret Security Clearance throughout the life of the contract.

Work Environment:

The work will be performed at various locations located on Fort Lee, Virginia.  Normal hours for conducting business between the hours of 0800 to 1700 Monday thru Friday except Federal Holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. Overtime will not be authorized.

  • Position generally requires light work with occasional lifting of up to (30) pounds or more, carrying supplies, equipment.

  • The ability to communicate clearly with an excellent comprehension of the English language is essential.
  • Work is generally performed in an indoor setting.

Travel:

Travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) to support tasks and requirements may be required.
